The hospital is located in Blount County, with outpatient centers in Knox, Blount, Loudon and Sevier Counties. Additionally, Peninsula offers care specifically designed for seniors with co-existing psychiatric and medical conditions at the Senior Behavioral Center located at Parkwest Medical Center. Sevier Clinic: Our Sevierville outpatient clinic is located at 1104 Foxwood Drive in Sevierville, Tennessee, and is open Monday-Thursday, 7:30 am - 5:30 pm. We provide mental health services for those experiencing psychiatric illnesses or symptoms. Our team of mental health professionals provide: Psychiatry Group, individual and family therapy Care Coordination Support Groups Medication management Assessment and referral services Position Summary: Provides mental health services to patients under the supervision of a physician, following established medical protocols. Provides follow-up psychiatric care and medication management to assigned patients.
Responsibilities
•Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program and safety standards.
•Participates on process improvement teams.
•Provides direct patient care, evaluates outcomes, consults with other specialists as required, and adjusts processes as indicated to ensure optimal patient care.
•Collaborates with supervising physician to formulate and review medical protocols and review care of assigned patients.
