Rogers Behavioral Health, a leading not-for-profit behavioral health system with over a century of experience, is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner. This role involves serving as a team leader within a multi-faceted treatment team, providing top-quality psychiatric services to adult, child, and adolescent patients across various levels of care. The successful candidate will contribute to a patient care model supported by collaborating physicians.

Responsibilities

•Attend patients and assist with coverage across multiple locations, levels of care, or virtual services.

•Conduct medication management, psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and history and physicals.

•Create and manage patient treatment plans, including discharge planning.

•Perform patient and family education and provide medication education to nursing staff.

•Participate in team, unit, and Medical Staff meetings, and the established call schedule.

•Complete all charting, documentation, and coding within organizational expectations and productivity standards.

•Assist with payor relations, review denials, and coordinate care with referring parties and other providers.

•Support admissions by providing initial placement recommendations and evaluating screenings for appropriate program and level of care.

Compensation

•Compensation between $121,859 and $146,231 per year, varying based on years of experience and specialization (adults or children).

•RVU bonus rate of $44.10 per RVU.

Shift & Schedule

•Participation in the established call schedule.

Requirements

•Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.

•Board-eligible AHP; Board certification preferred.

•Graduate of an accredited college or university.

•Successful completion of required practical training in psychiatry.

•Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to resolve conflict.

•Ability to use initiative and judgment to organize, plan activities, and make decisions affecting patient diagnosis and treatment.

•Strong verbal, hearing, written, and auditory communication skills.

•Physically and mentally able to perform job duties, including walking, sitting, standing, and lifting a minimum of 20 pounds.

•Two or more years of provider experience in a licensed hospital or clinic (preferred).

•Leadership, supervisory, or process improvement experience in a behavioral health organization (preferred).
