Northeast Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Outpatient Psychiatry APRN to join their team in Stamford, CT. •Part of a physician-led multi-specialty group with over 1,000 physicians
•Works within an interdisciplinary team, collaborating with supervising/collaborating physicians
•Focus on improving clinical care, outcomes, patient satisfaction, safety, value, clinical research, and education
Responsibilities
•Provide assessment, triage, and therapeutic management of patient/family needs as an integral part of an interdisciplinary team
•Work in collaboration with attending supervising/collaborating physician(s) in accordance with state law, hospital regulations, policy, protocols, and clinical pathways
•May provide autonomous team-based care
•Obtain medical histories and perform physical examinations
•Review and order diagnostic/therapeutic tests and radiologic results
•Formulate and manage patient treatment plans
•Educate patients and families on care and available resources
•Provide admitting instructions, treatment plans, potential side effects, and discharge plans

Requirements
•Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program
•Minimum two years of experience in clinical practice
•Experience and training working with geriatric population strongly preferred
•Active, unrestricted CT medical license or in process of obtaining
•ACLS/BLS (as required)
•Certification
•DEA License
