Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join the team at its an Outpatient Clinic. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, evidence-based psychiatric care in an outpatient setting while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
•Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing patient assessments
•Diagnose mental health disorders and provide evidence-based treatment, including care for patients with substance use disorders
•Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans with a focus on patient safety and harm reduction
•Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications as appropriate
•Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
•Meet productivity and billing expectations
•Provide coverage for team members during vacations to ensure continuity of care
Documentation & Compliance
•Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, and billing forms
•Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and organizational regulations, including HIPAA
Collaboration & Professional Development
•Work closely with physicians, psychotherapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
•Participate in regular clinical supervision with the Medical Director
•Assist with training and onboarding of new staff or trainees as needed
Qualifications
•Current certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
•Experience working with diverse patient populations, including individuals with substance use disorders
•Strong communication and collaboration skills
•Commitment to patient confidentiality and regulatory compliance
Compensation
•Annual salary range: $145,600 – $185,120
Compensation is based on factors such as experience, education, training, certifications, job responsibilities, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws.
