PMHNP Locums Job in Brooklyn, New York

Position Overview: Join a growing outpatient clinic in Brooklyn serving a predominantly Orthodox Jewish population. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with a dedicated behavioral health team and make a meaningful impact in the community.

Position Details:

--Patient Population: Ages 5+ (majority are children)

--Schedule: Part (20-25 hours/week); Clinic is open weekdays and closes early on Fridays

--Visit Types: Evals (45 mins), med checks (20–30 mins), consultations, treatment plan approvals

--Setting: Onsite preferred; open to a hybrid schedule

--Support Staff: Therapists, part-time NP, PNP administrative assistant

--Start Date: Early April for a 3 month initial contract

--Facility cannot pay provider for no shows however this is very rare at this facility

Requirements:

--Must be comfortable seeing all ages

--New York license and New York Medicare/Medicaid credentials

--Experience with or sensitivity to Orthodox Jewish culture

--EMR experience a plus

--Clinic census is growing – expect increased hours over time

--Exposure to complex cases is expected
