Current licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA) with psychiatric experience or a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in the state you are applying to. Board Certification as a PA or PMHNP. Must have DEA or have the ability and qualifications to obtain it prior to start. Prior experience preferred in providing mental health counseling services within a clinical setting. Must possess a State License to practice and it must be in good standing. Must possess the knowledge base in health promotion maintenance, advanced pathophysiology, advanced health assessment and pharmacology.
