Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive mental health care to patients, focusing on diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of psychiatric disorders. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care and support for individuals facing mental health challenges.
This job is in person in the clinic.
Hours:
Tuesday to Friday 8am to 7pm. (one hour lunch)
Supervising physician is provided by company

Responsibilities
•Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients 6 years old through end of life.
•Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
•Provide medication management, including prescribing and monitoring psychotropic medications.
•Engage in therapeutic communication and counseling with patients to promote mental wellness.
