About the Role
We're hiring a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team in Pleasant Hill, CA. This is a W2, in-person role providing psychiatric care to patients aged 11 and up. The role includes a hybrid model: you will predominantly be providing in-person care from our Pleasant Hill office, but will have the option to see some patients via telehealth.
We anticipate starting the role with 15-20 hours per week, increasing over time as our patient volume and demand increases.
As a MOOD provider, you'll treat a range of conditions including anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and schizoaffective disorder. This position is ideal for a clinician seeking meaningful, flexible, and supported psychiatric practice in a dynamic environment.
What You’ll Do
•Provide in-person and some telehealth psychiatric care to adolescents (11+) and adults
•Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans
•Prescribe and manage medications, with careful attention to safety, efficacy, and patient education
•Maintain timely and complete clinical documentation in accordance with state and practice standards
