HeadLight is hiring for this PMHNP position. Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners play a critical role in addressing the growing demand for mental health services across the United States. This employer is actively seeking qualified candidates to join their team.
•Client Engagement: 81% of clients attend their first scheduled appointment, reflecting our effective engagement strategies.
Roles and Responsibilities:
•Diagnose and treat mental health and emotional disorders.
•Work a hybrid model, meeting in the office at least three days a week.
•Provide both individual and group therapy.
•Prescribe and monitor medications as necessary.
•Maintain comprehensive records of patient visits and progress.
•Develop individualized treatment plans.
•Collaborate with healthcare team members for continuity of care.
•Educate patients and families about mental health.
•Engage in community outreach and education.
Qualifications:
•12 months of experience post-licensure in a psychiatric clinical setting.
•Master's in Nursing, specializing in Psychiatric Nursing.
•Board Certification from ANCC or AANP.
•Valid state licensure as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
•Active DEA registration in the prescribing state.
•Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not mandatory.
•Strong knowledge of mental health and emotional disorders.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Able to work cooperatively in a team setting.
•Proficient in Electronic Health Records (EHR), with NextGen experience preferred.
•Strong computer skills across software applications.

The salary for this role ranges from $152,000 to $210,800 per year, based on experience and hours worked. Total compensation includes a base salary and monthly bonuses based on billed hours.
