The role requires a professional to assess, diagnose, and provide treatment plans, ensuring comprehensive psychiatric health services and education.

Requirements:

Provide patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment plans.

Collaborate with psychiatrists, nursing staff, and counselors.

Offer psychiatric health services, education, and emotional support.

Refer patients for inpatient care when necessary.

Prescribe medications following treatment guidelines.

Order and interpret laboratory tests, explaining results to patients.

Engage in follow-up communications with patients as required.

Must speak Spanish

Qualifications:

Master of Science in Nursing with a Psychiatric/Mental Health emphasis.

Three years of relevant experience.

Licensed as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in NY.

Ability to work 25 hours per week.
