We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our clinical team on a per diem basis.
This role involves providing high-quality psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing mental health care to individuals in a supportive and collaborative treatment environment.
Role can be in person, tele-med, or hybrid.
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, history and physicals, and assessments with patients
Diagnose and treat mental health disorders in accordance with evidence-based practices
Provide medication management and monitor patient response to treatment

Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with therapists, counselors, and interdisciplinary treatment team members
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
Ensure care is delivered in accordance with state and federal regulations and organizational policies
Educate clients and families on diagnoses, medications, and treatment options
Participate in case reviews, treatment planning meetings, and clinical consultations as needed
Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments when required
Active and unrestricted PMHNP license in New Jersey
Current DEA registration and prescriptive authority
Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program
Minimum of 1 year of experience in psychiatric or behavioral health settings preferred
Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and psychiatric treatment modalities
Excellent communication, organizational, and clinical decision-making skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Commitment to ethical practice and patient-centered care
Experience working in substance use disorder treatment settings
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Experience with diverse populations and varying levels of acuity
$120 per hour, paid on a per diem basis
