Effective July 1, 2025, in accordance with the applicable Memorandum of Understanding, the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) was implemented. PLP 2025 requires each full-time employee in Bargaining Unit 17, and related Excluded, Exempt and Statutory Exempt employees, will have their base salary reduced by 3 percent and will receive 5 PLP 2025 leave credits monthly through June 2027. Salaries do not reflect the recent changes. Part-time employees are subject to the same conditions as full-time employees, on a prorated basis equivalent to their time-base. Permanent intermittent employees are subject to the same condition as full-time employees, based on the number of hours worked in the pay period.
This is a limited term position which may be extended or become permanent.

Employees in this class, employed within the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, and who are physically located and assigned to this institution, shall receive a pay differential equivalent to 15% of their monthly base pay.
Under the clinical direction of, and in collaboration with the Chief Psychiatrist, the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) provides primary mental health clinical assessment and treatment services, in accordance with established standardized procedures, to the incarcerated who are patients in the Mental Health Services Delivery System. These clinical services may be provided in any of the program areas or units serving incarcerated patients, including the Short Term Restricted Housing Unit, the Enhanced Outpatient Program (GP), the Correctional Treatment Center, or any of the several programs serving CCCMS (Correctional Clinical Case Management Services) patients. The PNP will participate in the psychiatry on call schedule. The PNP works as a treatment team member with members of other clinical disciplines in the development and implementation of a total treatment plan.
Possession of a current license as a registered nurse in California.
