We are looking for an experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our Outpatient team at LifeBridge Health. Our team is dedicated to providing excellent care and support to our patients and their families. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about helping others, has excellent communication and collaboration skills, and is able to work independently. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited university, and be certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority. Additionally, a minimum of one year of experience in psychiatric mental health care is required. The successful candidate should also be dedicated to providing quality care and be knowledgeable of current psychiatric care standards. Provide quality psychiatric care to patients and their families.
Evaluate and diagnose mental health disorders, create treatment plans, and track patient progress.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for patients.
Communicate effectively with patients and their families to ensure understanding of care plans and procedures.
Prescribe medication to treat mental health disorders as needed.
Maintain up-to-date records of patient care.
Stay current with best practices and standards in psychiatric care.
Perform administrative duties as needed, such as completing paperwork and scheduling patient visits.
