An innovative and well respected mental health agency serving adults with serious mental illness, substance abuse, co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders, and co-morbid medical conditions is seeking a Full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in Manhattan
The practitioner will work Monday through Friday 9am – 5pm. No nights, No weekends and no call.
Practitioner to work 2 days per week with an ACT team most of this work in field based) and 3 days per week in an office based setting providing clinical services to seriously mentally ill clients who have history of multiple hospitalizations and non-compliance with traditional treatment and homelessness as part of the interdisciplinary team
Scope of services provided include conducting Psychiatric Assessments and Evaluations; Prescribing, Monitoring and Administering Psychotropic Medications; Provide crisis intervention services to clients; Participating in clinical case conferences, team meetings, High Risk conferences, quality improvement initiatives, evidence-based practice implementation and policy/procedure development.
The practitioner will also complete all clinical documentation as required by payers, funders, and regulatory authorities via an Electronic Health Record and Complete all administrative paperwork required
