About the Role
We are seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Board-Certified (or eligible) Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist (MD/DO) to join our growing Child and Adolescent prescribing team. This is an opportunity to work in a collaborative, supportive, and mission-driven outpatient environment dedicated to improving mental health outcomes for children, teens, and their families.
Key Responsibilities
· Maintain an active clinical schedule as outlined in your contract.
· Provide thorough psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive therapy (not to be the primary therapist).
· See patients promptly and allocate sufficient time for comprehensive care.
· Code appointments accurately for complexity and time.
· Complete documentation promptly (begin notes within 24 hours, finalize within 1 week).
· Review and respond to patient portal messages daily.
· Communicate effectively with staff and collaborate with therapists and other clinicians.
· Ensure clinical coverage during any time off and log time off in BambooHR.
· Participate in case discussions, provide peer support, and engage in ongoing learning.

Requirements
· Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) program — or MD/DO with board certification in Psychiatry.
· Board Certification: PMHNP-BC (for NPs) and/or Child & Adolescent Psychiatry (for MD/DO).
· Active, unrestricted license to practice in the state of Maryland.
· Minimum 3 years of experience (for Nurse Practitioners).
· Excellent clinical judgment, communication skills, and empathy.
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
