Employee will be under the programmatic supervision of the Director of Medical Services. APRN will maintain a collaborating physician and supervisory agreement for the purpose of prescribing medication as required by the Kentucky Board of Nursing.
1. Conduct psychiatric evaluations.
2. Provide medications/prescription management; and complete reports and related documentation to health care facilities.
3. Maintain a KASPER account with a delegate.
4. Perform psychiatric review and sign all treatment plans as required by regulatory and funding agencies.
5. Psychiatric consultations
6. Admission psychiatric histories within regulatory time frames.
7. Diagnosis
8. Administer injectable medications as indicated.
9. Prepare and update treatment plans, goals, and objectives.
10. Participate in discharge planning and referrals.
11. Work as a part of a multi-disciplinary team to include outpatient psychiatric services at the Pennyroyal Center
12. Lead and/or participate in weekly treatment team meeting.
13. Maintains current knowledge of all applicable Federal, State, hospital regulations and provides all services in compliance with the latter regulations.
