Third Space Therapy is a fully remote telehealth organization dedicated to expanding access to high-quality mental health care for underserved communities. Our mission is to provide compassionate, timely psychiatric and therapeutic services to Medicaid populations across the United States. We are seeking experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) who are passionate about serving diverse populations and making a meaningful impact through virtual care.

Position Overview

As a Remote PMHNP, you will provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing treatment via a secure telehealth platform. This is a 1099 contractor position with a flexible schedule and compensation based on a percentage of collections.

This role is ideal for clinicians who value autonomy, work-life balance, and the opportunity to serve Medicaid patients who often face barriers to care.

Key Responsibilities

•Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations via telehealth

•Diagnose mental health conditions using DSM-5 and ICD-10 criteria

•Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs

•Prescribe, monitor, and adjust psychotropic medications according to evidence-based guidelines and state regulations

•Provide ongoing medication management and follow-up care

•Document clinical services accurately using appropriate CPT and ICD-10 coding

•Maintain compliance with Medicaid guidelines and organizational policies

•Collaborate with therapists and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care

•Deliver patient-centered care with strong communication, empathy, and professionalism

Qualifications

•Active, unrestricted PMHNP license in one or more U.S. states

•Current board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

•DEA license (or ability to obtain)

•Experience providing psychiatric care to adult and/or child/adolescent populations

•Telehealth experience preferred

•Experience working with Medicaid or underserved populations strongly preferred

•Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and evidence-based treatment practices

•Comfortable using electronic health records and telehealth technology

•Excellent communication, organization, and clinical documentation skills
