Implement therapeutic techniques to address a wide range of psychiatric conditions
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Offers education and support to residents and their families regarding mental health conditions and treatment options
Promote mental health awareness and wellness among residents
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with regulatory standards
Ensure timely and thorough documentation of all assessments and interventions
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance mental health care services within the facility
Collaborate with the healthcare team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes
Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program specializing in Psychiatric Mental Health
Current and unrestricted PMHNP license in the state of PA
Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
Minimum of 2 years clinical experience as a PMHNP, preferably in a hospital or acute care setting
Strong knowledge of psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
Active and unrestricted DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) (We will help obtain)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners will maintain clinical competency & collaboration with Psychiatrist (we will provide)
Active and unrestricted driver’s license
