Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) – Part-Time, Hybrid

Ingenious Health & Wellness is expanding mental health services into Fayetteville, North Carolina, and is seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our growing team.

This part-time, hybrid role focuses on providing high-quality psychiatric care, including facilitation of in-house mental health treatments for patients with treatment-resistant depression, while supporting patient safety, comfort, and regulatory compliance. Opportunity exists for additional hours as patient volume grows.

Job Summary

PMHNP will provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and facilitation of in-office mental health treatments in accordance with evidence-based practices and applicable REMS (Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategy) requirements when applicable. Role emphasizes patient safety, comfort, and continuity of care within a supportive, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

•Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and follow-up visits

•Determine patient readiness for in-office mental health treatments

•Facilitate treatment sessions in compliance with applicable REMS protocols

•Monitor and document patient vitals, side effects, and treatment responses

•Provide emotional support and patient education throughout treatment

•Deliver post-treatment discharge instructions and coordinate follow-up care

•Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)

•Collaborate with interdisciplinary mental health team members

•Provide in-office coverage for treatments when scheduled

Schedule

•Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week

•Hybrid model with telehealth and required on-site presence

•Potential for additional hours as patient volume increases

Qualifications

•PMHNP certification

•Active or eligible North Carolina APRN license

•DEA registration required or willingness to obtain prior to start date

•Experience in psychiatric or mental health care preferred

•Strong clinical judgment and crisis intervention skills

•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

•CPR/BLS certification required

•Willingness to come into the office to cover in-house treatments
