Part-Time Psychiatric NP (PMHNP) - One Afternoon a Week

About the Role

Prime Medical, an established clinic in Catonsville, MD, is hiring a psychiatric nurse practitioner for ONE fixed afternoon a week (Tuesday or Friday, about 12 pm to 4/5 pm). This role is a great fit for a PMHNP with a full-time job who wants steady extra income, or for an NP who mostly works from home and wants a small in-person commitment.

What You'll Do

• See established psychiatry and Suboxone (buprenorphine) patients only. No primary care, blood pressure, diabetes, or pain management.

• Work in person at our Catonsville office for the first 2 to 3 weeks, then see patients by video visit.

• Complete notes, sign them, and send prescriptions the same day in our EHR (Charm).

• Occasionally cover a short 1 to 2 hour video session on another day to catch up patients who missed, paid at the same rate.

Requirements

• Maryland RN license and Maryland CRNP certification (Psychiatric/Mental Health)

• Active DEA registration and Maryland CDS registration

• Comfortable prescribing buprenorphine for opioid use disorder

• At least 1 year of experience as a psychiatric nurse practitioner

Pay and Benefits

• Part-time W-2 position

• $70 to $90 per hour, based on experience

• Plus $10 per completed visit (note signed and prescriptions sent the same day)

• Malpractice insurance paid by the clinic

• A medical assistant calls patients ahead of each clinic day with reminders
