Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will provide comprehensive mental health services according to our site-specific protocols. You will work within the family, geriatric, and internal medicine specialties tailored for long-term care facilities.

Quality/Compliance:

•Offer high-quality clinical experiences and treat patients with various adult psychopathologies.

•Enjoy independence in your practice while being part of a supportive psychiatric team composed of MDs, PMHNPs, NPs, and PAs.

•Receive dedicated supervision from a psychiatrist focused on your professional development rather than just practice management.

•Engage in ongoing education through monthly case conferences, journal reviews, and annual meetings.

•Collaborate seamlessly with primary care providers and psychotherapists, ensuring your patients have access to therapy as needed.

•Work with a medical assistant partner to streamline scheduling, charting, and administrative tasks.

•Utilize our integrated Electronic Health Records system to ensure cohesive care across specialties.

Qualifications/Education:

•Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution and a current, valid medical license issued by your state’s Medical Board.

•Graduate from an accredited physician assistant educational program.

•Pass the national certification examination from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

•Hold a valid Physician Assistant license from your state.

•Specialization in geriatric, family, or psychiatry is preferred.
