PMHNP | Inpatient (On-site or Remote)

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate PMHNP to deliver high-quality inpatient psychiatric care to diverse patient populations. This role offers the flexibility to work onsite at our partner facilities or remotely via telehealth, depending on your preference and licensure. The ideal candidate is committed to evidence-based, patient-centered care and enjoys working as part of a multidisciplinary team. This position supports patients in acute psychiatric settings and plays a critical role in their stabilization and recovery process.

Key Responsibilities:

•Perform psychiatric assessments, diagnose mental health conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans.

•Manage psychotropic medications and monitor treatment efficacy and safety.

•Collaborate closely with attending psychiatrists, nursing staff, therapists, and case managers to coordinate comprehensive care.

•Participate in daily treatment team meetings and contribute to care planning and discharge recommendations.

•Document patient encounters and treatment plans in a timely and compliant manner.

•Deliver crisis intervention and support patients and families through acute psychiatric episodes.

•Adhere to all ethical, legal, and regulatory standards governing psychiatric practice.

Qualifications:

•Licensed and certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in any U.S. state.

•Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain.

•Experience in inpatient psychiatry strongly preferred.

•Telepsychiatry experience is a plus but not required.

•Strong communication, collaboration, and clinical decision-making skills.

•Comfortable using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and telehealth platforms.

•Flexible availability for part-time or full-time scheduling.
