We are seeking a PRN Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Des Moines, IA!

Our facility has easy access to major transportation arteries, such as University Ave, and I-235, I-35/I-80, downtown Des Moines and the Des Moines International Airport.

The position is primarily responsible for conducting psychiatric evaluations, medication consultation and collaboration with care team as needed. The position will provide pharmacological treatment, if indicated, and request and review any needed lab work. Position collaborates with team members, care givers, external medical providers to oversee and promote the health and safety of clients throughout the treatment process.

Relationships and Contacts

Within the organization: Initiates and maintains frequent and close working relationships with staff, clients, families, facility, and peers throughout the organization.

Outside the organization: Initiates and maintains strong professional relationships with clinical providers, referral partners and vendors, as needed.
