Leading Community Health organization is looking to add another Psych Nurse Practitioner to their expanding medical staff

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with the medical staff as a care provider to treat patients suffering from acute and/or chronic mental health issues

The Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner will Provide Comprehensive Assessments and Evaluations, write orders, prescribing treatments and evaluate medications

Completes the history of the present illness and review past histories and social work evaluation

Provide pharmacologic therapeutic interventions as necessary. Provide crisis intervention and referral for psychiatric hospitalization referrals for further diagnostic psychological or medical testing as needed

Develops care plans based on diagnostic assessment information that is documented appropriately, including identified goal(s), behavioral/psychological problem statement, measurable objectives and estimated time frames for achievement

Work as integral part of a multi-disciplinary, collaborative team
