Job Overview
Brandywine Center for Mental Health is a Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Program opening in Hockessin Delaware. We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse to join our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).
- Clinical Assessment: Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments to diagnose mental health conditions in patients. Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure quality care.

- Medication Management: Monitor psychotropic medications, closely monitoring effectiveness and potential side effects. Adjust treatment plans as needed .
- Collaboration: Work closely with our psychiatrist to coordinate care and provide support.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Current Nurse Practitioner license with specialization in Psychiatric-Mental Health.
- Experience in diagnosing and treating various mental health conditions, including but not limited to schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, and PTSD.
- Proficiency in conducting history and physical assessment's
- Familiarity with Kipu or similar electronic medical record systems.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with a team of medical and clinical professionals
- Competitive hourly pay commensurate with experience.
- Work twice per week in person with some limited telehealth availability
