Sacred Healing Lights International (SacredHLI) is a faith-based nonprofit serving communities through two divisions: Walkaway Real Estate and SacredHLI Mental Health. Our Mental Health Division is a payer-activated telehealth platform supporting Psychiatry and SUD services. This role is designed for experienced PMHNPs seeking supplemental, low-friction telehealth work without volume pressure or guaranteed hours.
Services are delivered virtually, with coverage available in multiple states based on clinician licensure and payer authorization.

Licensure: Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in California, Texas, Georgia, Arizona, Colorado and Nevada (Multi-state licensure a plus) to join our telehealth network as a 1099 independent contractor. This role is designed for experienced clinicians who already maintain stable income (e.g. W-2 employment, private practice, or other clinical work) and are seeking flexible, supplemental telehealth hours during this initial ramp period and do not require guaranteed hours, salary or standby pay.
Clinicians may begin with evaluation and follow-up services and activate prescribing later, if desired.
Multi-State Expansion Notice
SacredHLI is selectively onboarding one PMHNP per state to activate telehealth services in California, Texas, Georgia, Arizona, Colorado or Nevada subject to licensure and payer authorization. Applicants must already hold an active PMHNP license and be eligible to practice independently in the state for which they are applying (Multi-state licensure a plus).
Key Responsibilities

•Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits via secure telehealth platforms (AdvancedMD + Zoom).
•Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications in accordance with scope of practice and applicable regulations.
•Document all encounters within SacredHLI’s HIPAA-compliant EHR (AdvancedMD).
•Collaborate clinically with SacredHLI leadership and care team as needed (non-supervisory).
•Uphold trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and patient-centered care standards.
Qualifications
•Active Nurse Practitioner license with furnishing/prescriptive authority (PMHNP required).
•Post-PMHNP clinical experience required; candidates with 5+ years preferred. (Candidates with fewer than 5 years may be considered at an adjusted rate during initial ramp.)
•Active DEA registration.
•Individual professional liability (malpractice) insurance.
•Strong clinical judgment, documentation skills, and comfort with telehealth delivery.
•Alignment with SacredHLI’s mission and values.
Pre-Assignment Requirements
Prior to receiving patient assignments, selected clinicians must complete:
•Reference verification and professional background check.
•Credentialing alignment under SacredHLI’s payer network structure.
•Full AdvancedMD EHR and telehealth onboarding (HIPAA, documentation, eRx/PDMP, workflow standards).
•Additional state-specific prescribing requirements may apply for clinicians who prescribe and are the responsibility of the clinician where required.
Compensation & Terms
•$75.00 – $90.00 per billable clinical hour (1099 independent contractor).
•Compensation is paid only for completed, billable clinical services.
•No guaranteed hours, no salary, no standby pay, and no draw.
•Clinicians maintain full control over their availability and scheduling.
•SacredHLI manages all billing, claims submission, and reimbursement.
•100% remote; clinicians may work from anywhere within their licensed state(s), subject to payer authorization.
Workload Expectations
•Typical engagement ranges from 5–15 billable hours per week, based on clinician availability and payer authorizations.
•This role is best suited for clinicians with concurrent employment or independent practices who prefer flexible, supplemental clinical work rather than guaranteed volume.
Growth Opportunities
Qualified clinicians may be considered for future leadership roles (e.g., Supervising Clinician or Medical Director) during expansion phases. Such roles would be subject to separate agreements, scope definitions, and compensation structures.
