Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our dynamic mental health team. In this vital role, you will provide expert psychiatric care, conduct comprehensive patient assessments, and develop personalized treatment plans for a diverse patient population. Duties

•Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations to accurately assess patients' mental health conditions using medical terminology and clinical data collection methods

•Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating psychopharmacology, psychotherapy (including psychodynamic therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy), and other evidence-based interventions

•Manage medication regimens responsibly, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining detailed medical records and documentation

•Provide crisis management and immediate intervention for patients experiencing acute psychiatric episodes or trauma such as PTSD or behavioral health crises

•Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, especially when working with children, geriatrics, or individuals with developmental disabilities

•Conduct intake assessments for new patients, ensuring comprehensive understanding of their medical history and mental health needs

•Utilize telehealth platforms to extend psychiatric services remotely, ensuring accessibility for all patients while adhering to privacy standards

Experience

•Post-residency experience in psychiatry with a focus on pediatric psychiatry or geriatrics preferred

•Proven experience working with children, adults, and elderly populations in outpatient or inpatient settings

•Hands-on hospital experience managing acute psychiatric cases in inpatient units or emergency settings

•Skilled in behavioral health interventions including addiction counseling, PTSD care, and crisis management techniques

•Familiarity with medical documentation standards, medical records management, and intake procedures

•Experience with telehealth platforms and delivering mental health counseling remotely is highly desirable

•Knowledge of medical terminology related to psychiatry and behavioral health disorders is essential
