Overview
Performs a variety of patient care activities within Behavioral Health in accordance with established standards and practice. Augments a physician's ability to provide mental health services to patients; collects and documents data, conducts diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, orders and schedules laboratory studies and professional consultations and provides direct patient care services.

Qualifications
Education
Master’s degree Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with current Georgia license for Advanced Practice Nursing and a Master’s in Nursing Required or
Master’s degree Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistants program with current license for the Georgia State Composite Board. Specialty in Behavioral Health Required
Work Experience
2 years of Behavioral Health experience Required
Behavioral Health experience strongly Preferred
Licenses and Certifications
ACNP - Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Licensed for Advanced Practice Nursing (ACNP/FNP) Upon Hire Required or
FNP - Family Nurse Practitioner Upon Hire Required or
PA - Physician Assistant Licensed Physician Assistant in the State of Georgia. Updated NCCPA certification for PA’s Upon Hire Required and
