Requirements
•Master’s degree in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing.
•Current certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
•Strong knowledge of physiology, mental health disorders, and treatment protocols.
•Experience in toddler care is a plus, enhancing the ability to work with younger populations.
•Familiarity with systems of care, including discharge planning processes.
•Ability to work effectively in urgent care and emergency medicine situations.
•Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient education.
•Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
We are seeking a Dual Certified Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide high-quality substance abuse/psychiatric care to clients
Hours Monday -Friday 9am-5pmServices will be provided through both in-office and telehealth services to serve clients

•Key Responsibilities
•Collaborate with the Medical Director
•medication management
•Review and update medical protocols, policies, and procedures to maintain the highest standard of care
•Educate staff on medical procedures and protocols to ensure effective practices
•Assess the medical appropriateness of clients for admission.
•Perform comprehensive history and physical exams, psychiatric assessments, and evaluations
•Assists in the development of treatment plans based upon assessment data and provides therapeutic interventions as necessary including the provision of ongoing medication management services
•Assess, diagnose, and treat adults, adolescents, and children experiencing symptoms of behavioral health disorders.
•Prescribe, recommend, or discontinue drugs and treatments to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders in accordance with the Collaborative Practice Agreement and the state’s Nurse Practice Act.
•Responsible for timely and accurate completion of medical records, including assessment, treatment plan, progress notes, outcome measures, and billing entries.
•Counsel clients during appointments, as necessary.
