A mission-driven nonprofit is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join its senior leadership team in a dynamic role that combines direct patient care with strategic leadership. This is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of youth and families while helping to shape innovative behavioral health programs and expand access to high-quality mental health services throughout the Des Moines region.

Position Overview:

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on care planning and crisis support while leading clinical strategy, program development, and service innovation for a growing nonprofit organization in Iowa
• Act as part of the executive team to design and implement evidence-based, trauma-informed care models primarily for adolescent patients
• Provide consultation, mentorship, and guidance to clinical teams
• Position includes about 15% direct patient care providing medication management and clinical understanding
• Excellent work/life balance with up to 5 weeks' vacation
• Starting salary of $150K-$175K (negotiable)

Qualifications:

• Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner/ PMHNP
• 3+ years leadership or program development and prior management of direct reports preferred
• Experience with youth, families, or high-risk populations preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, collaboration, and strategic thinking skills
