Blue Sky Counseling is seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who is passionate about supporting Mainers through high-quality, patient-centered psychiatric care. This role primarily focuses on mental health medication management, while also supporting individuals with co-occurring substance use disorders, including Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD), as needed.

Position Overview
The PMHNP will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and ongoing monitoring for individuals with mental health conditions. Additional responsibilities may include supporting individuals with opioid use disorder through assessment, prescribing, and monitoring of MOUD when clinically appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
•Provide psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management for mental health conditions, including assessment, prescribing, dose adjustments, and monitoring.
•Collaborate and coordinate care with other providers as needed when clients are in their care for MOUD and psychiatric support is indicated.
•Assess and treat individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, including prescribing and managing MOUD as clinically indicated.
•Evaluate patient needs, behaviors, and medical considerations to develop individualized, recovery-oriented treatment plans.
•Deliver care through individual sessions focused on stabilization, symptom reduction, medication adherence, symptom management, and recovery goals.
