Key Responsibilities
•Provide outpatient psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and medication management
•Utilize DSM-5-TR for assessment and treatment planning
•Deliver care in both in-person and telehealth settings
•Collaborate with patients to develop individualized, goal-oriented care plans
•Practice within a trauma-informed, integrated behavioral health model
•Coordinate care with community partners and emergency services when needed
•Participate in limited after-hours on-call rotation (1–2 times per year)
•Document care efficiently using electronic health records
Qualifications
•Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
•Active, unrestricted Texas license
•Experience or strong interest in working with underserved populations
•Comfortable working independently while collaborating within a team
•Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills
•Proficient with EHR systems and telehealth platforms
