Performance Management & KPI Monitoring
Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to clinical quality, productivity, documentation compliance, patient satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
Partner with leadership to develop strategies for achieving departmental and organizational goals.
Identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and implement corrective action plans when necessary.
Education & Professional Development
Develop and deliver Continuing Medical Education (CME) presentations and educational programming for clinical staff.
Facilitate training sessions on psychiatric best practices, emerging evidence, regulatory updates, and organizational initiatives.
Promote a culture of lifelong learning, clinical excellence, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Training & Travel Responsibilities
Travel to affiliated clinical sites as needed to provide onsite provider orientation, training, mentorship, and support.
Assess site-specific educational needs and implement targeted training initiatives to improve provider performance and consistency of care delivery.
Serve as an ambassador of organizational values and clinical standards across all service locations.
Collaborative Leadership
Share leadership responsibilities with a designated Lead PMHNP counterpart, ensuring equitable distribution of duties and continuity of operations.
Partner closely with the Medical Director and executive leadership to support strategic initiatives and organizational growth.
Participate in leadership meetings, committee work, and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
Master's degree from a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program.
Current and unrestricted PMHNP licensure in applicable state - NYS.
National certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
DEA registration and prescriptive authority in applicable state - NYS.
Prior leadership, supervisory, mentoring, or provider management experience strongly preferred.
Experience working within outpatient, long-term care, skilled nursing, or integrated behavioral health settings is highly desirable.
Ability to travel to various clinical locations as needed.
Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and working on a computer.
Ability to participate in onsite meetings, trainings, and provider evaluations.
