Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PmhnP) Part-Time | Hybrid

Emergent Mental Health Services Llc is hiring a part-time psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (pmhnp) for a hybrid role at our phoenix-area outpatient behavioral health clinic. This position operates within a crisis-lite outpatient model, providing same-day psychiatric evaluations, short-term stabilization, and clinical triage for adults experiencing acute mental health needs that do not require inpatient hospitalization. This role does not involve long-term medication management or ongoing patient panels.

Schedule & shift:

- Part-time: 30 hours per week

- Days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday

- Hours: 2:00 pm 8:00 pm (6-hour shifts)

- Fixed, predictable schedule

- Hybrid rotation between in-person clinic coverage and telehealth

- No on-call, overnight, or holiday shifts required

Responsibilities:

- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments

- Perform risk and safety assessments in an outpatient setting

- Provide short-term stabilization and clinical recommendations

- Prescribe medications as clinically appropriate within scope

- Deliver care via both in-person visits and telehealth

- Collaborate with therapists, case managers, and peer support staff

- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation in the ehr

Qualifications:

psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (pmhnp/aprn) msn or dnp from an accredited program

active arizona nurse practitioner license (or license-eligible)

national pmhnp certification

dea registration (or ability to obtain prior to start)

comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient environment

strong clinical judgment and communication skills
