Nurse Practitioner - Psychiatric

Orchard Place seeks an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner with psychiatric training and exp! erience with children, youth and families to work in our 103 bed residential program serving children and youth between the ages of 10-17 years.

This position provides comprehensive, direct services to clients including assessment of physical/psychiatric functioning and pharmacological interventions as part of a team including psychiatrist, therapists, milieu and nursing staff.

Position requires:

1. Certification APRN, BC issues by the American Nurses Certification Center (ANCC) with specialty as one of the following:

-- Clinical Nurse Specialist in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Nursing

-- Family Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

2. Experience working with children, youth and families.

Successful candidates will have clear ba! ckground checks with the Division of Criminal Investigation an! d the abuse registries (including child, dependent adult and sex abuse).
