Position Summary

We are seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team. This is primarily a remote position, allowing you to provide care via telehealth from your home office. Occasional in-person availability (typically 1–2 times per year) is requested for select patient appointments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations (45–60 minutes) and medication management follow-up visits (20–30 minutes)
• Diagnose and treat a variety of psychiatric conditions, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, OCD, bipolar disorder, and other areas of clinical interest or expertise
• Prescribe psychotropic medications in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Respond to patient messages through Spruce within 2 business days
• Collaborate with primary care providers, therapists, and family members when clinically appropriate
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation

Required Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree (MSN, DNP, or equivalent) from an accredited PMHNP program
• Active PMHNP-BC certification through ANCC
• Active and unrestricted RN and APRN/NP license in Oregon
• Active DEA registration with Schedule II authority (or willingness to obtain before start date)
• New graduates with psychiatric nursing experience are encouraged to apply

Preferred Qualifications

• Licensure in Oregon, Washington State and/or Washington, DC
• Two or more years of psychiatric clinical experience
• Multi-state licensure (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience with telehealth and asynchronous patient communication

Schedule

• Flexible schedule
• Set your own availability
• Part-time 1099 contractor position

Compensation

• Competitive 1099 compensation
• 70/30 revenue split based on insurance reimbursement
• Administrative support provided for scheduling, billing, insurance claims, patient communication, etc.
