About Comprehensive Psych Services LLC
Comprehensive Psych Services LLC is hiring part-time 1099 Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP) in your area. Provider will work 1-2 full days per week at our practice location at a rate of 10-20 patients per day. We see clients along the lifespan, including children, adolescents, and adults in our outpatient psychiatric practice. We see a wide variety of patients from ages 8 to 75 with ADHD, mood, anxiety, autism spectrum, trauma.
Position summary
This is a PMHNP role with successful candidates having specific expertise with developmentally-informed, adolescent psychiatric care. You will conduct comprehensive evaluations, prescribe psychotropic medications, and partner closely with parents, schools, and other treating providers.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations including 1) developmental history, including parent/caregiver interviews and school collateral reviews; or 2) experience with military/Veteran clients and their families, 3).
- Lead family meetings and psychoeducation sessions for parents/caregivers
- Diagnose and treat ADHD, mood disorders, anxiety, OCD, PTSD.
- Prescribe and titrate psychotropic medications appropriate for specific populations
- As needed coordination or communication with schools, IEP/504 teams, and pediatric primary care
- Maintain documentation per Florida child mental health regulations
Required qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree (MSN, DNP) from an accredited PMHNP program
- Active, unrestricted PMHNP-BC certification (ANCC)
- Active RN and APRN/NP licensure in Florida.
- Active, unrestricted DEA registration with Schedule II authority (or willingness to obtain by start date)
Preferred qualifications
- 2+ years of child & adolescent psychiatric experience
- CAP-PMHNP certification or equivalent specialty training
- Experience with developmental screening tools and parent rating scales
- Expertise with Veterans and Military, and their families.
- Spanish fluency is a plus.

Schedule
1 to 2 days per week on Monday through Saturday, with willingness to work afternoon or extended hours to accommodate school/family/military schedules. No mandated weekends; no on-call.
Compensation and benefits
- 1099 position. Provider will receive percentage of reimbursement per service commensurate with experience and client load.
- Time off will be flexibly arranged.
