Position summary

Fitz Ilias Health is hiring a Remote PMHNP telepsychiatry clinician to support outpatient services for patients across the lifespan in {state}. This is a telehealth position based in {city}, {state}, with care delivered remotely from your home office. You will provide psychiatric assessment, medication management, and therapeutic support for children, adolescents, and adults, while helping create a steady, thoughtful experience for each patient encounter.

This is an independent contractor opportunity with part-time, PRN, and on-call needs. Key responsibilities

• Provide remote outpatient psychiatric care for patients across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, adults, and other populations served by the practice.
• Complete psychiatric evaluations, ongoing follow-up visits, and clinical documentation in a timely, accurate manner.
• Deliver medication management while also offering psychotherapy and a therapeutic experience that supports patient engagement and continuity of care.
• Build rapport with patients and families through telehealth, using clear communication, empathy, and sound clinical boundaries.
• Support Spanish-speaking patients with culturally responsive care and meaningful connection in Spanish.
• Use prescriptive authority responsibly and maintain all required standards related to controlled substances and DEA registration.
• Navigate a variety of computer systems and EMRs as part of daily practice, adapting to workflow needs across the outpatient setting.
• Maintain professional, compliant records and protect patient privacy in a home-based telemedicine environment.
• Collaborate with the practice team as needed to promote continuity, service excellence, and a positive care experience.
• Participate in random drug testing at various points throughout the year as a condition of engagement.

Required qualifications

• Current Colorado license as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner.
• Board certified PMHNP.
• At least 1 year of experience.
• Prescriptive authority.
• Active DEA number.
• Current malpractice insurance.
• Bilingual speaking, Spanish speaking, with a passion for connecting in Spanish.
• Willingness to work with people across the lifespan.
• Ability and interest in providing psychotherapy in addition to medication management.
• Ability to work with a variety of different computer systems and EMRs.
• No board actions, medical-legal actions, or pending cases.
• Ability to pass random drug testing at various points throughout the year.
• Ability to supply your own internet and computer equipment for remote work.
